Cougar of the Week is an honor given to an outstanding student each week. Students earn this honor by being a good citizen, a good student, etc... The recipient gets to bring home the cougar until the following week when the cougar goes to another well deserving student. Our sweet C was selected as Cougar of the Week, so "Lily" (the cougar) is staying at our house until Thursday when she must go back to the office to get "groomed" for the next recipient.
Our Cougar of the Week is also the Kindergarten "Cougar Reader Leader" which means that she has read the most minutes in Kindergarten. WOW!
Another reading note...AB had her reading assessment test at school recently. Our sweet second grader is reading on a 6.1 grade level! That means that she reads the equivalent of a student in sixth grade, one month into the school year. AMAZING!
Way to go, readers! We're so proud of our girls!
