Four Smocked Sisters!

Introducing Vivian Rachel...the fourth smocked sister. I will have to change my blog name (in my spare time - hahahaha!). Life with four beautiful and energetic girls has been busy to say the least, but Vivian has blended right in.

She was born July 23 (almost 3 weeks early!) weighing in at a petite 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 19 inches long. After Lila arriving at almost 9 pounds I was thankful for a small baby! Vivian is growing like a weed. At 8 weeks, she was already up to twelve pounds! Nursing is obviously going well, but with one problem. She doesn't like a bottle, but we are working on that challenge.

Out of all four babies, we thought we might get lucky and have one without reflux. No such luck. She has had a terrible battle with reflux especially in the evenings. She is now on Zantac and a proton pump inhibitor (think Prilosec for babies) which is bringing her some relief (and relief to exhausted parents).

She is truly our surprise blessing. The big girls (I can't believe that I am calling Lila a big girl!) absolutely adore her and Rodney & I are pretty smitten with her as well.
