It's been ages since I've blogged! We had a wonderful Christmas. We actually got to wake up in our own beds this year...the first time that's happened in a long time! We left on Christmas afternoon to spend a few days in Shreveport with my side of the family. It was seven adults, five children, four dogs and a partridge in a pear tree....just kidding about the partridge in a pear tree. We had a house full of fun for the few days that we were all together.
Here are a few photos of our Bryan Christmas. I'll post more from the holiday break later. I have a ton of catching up to do!
After church on Christmas Eve. The girls each chose one present to open.
Anna Beth chose a gift from Rodney & me...fuzzy pink boots!
Corinne was disappointed that she somehow didn't get boots in her package. FYI...she DID have pink fuzzy boots under the tree AND she loves the flannel sheets (from Lila) that she is crying about in this photo. Oh, the drama!
Lila and her mirror from Anna Beth. Who would have known that the least expensive gift was the hands down favorite? Anna Beth had a great idea with this gift with inspiration from an old (seriously, I think as old as me!) plastic mirror at Grandma's house.
"Waking up" in our own beds. Actually, Rodney & the girls were tucking me in bed for a nap one afternoon! I was honored to be tucked in so carefully & with so much love!
