Poor Anna Beth. In the last 24 hours she has been diagnosed with a staph infection on her knee (courtesy of tumbling class) and then a bout with the stomach bug. She has been so brave with the doctor and nurses poking & prodding her sore knee. Her braveness continued as she completed her last homework assignment just minutes before "losing her lunch" all over the family room floor (thank goodness for tile floors!)
No school today for sweet Anna Beth. I had a doctor's appointment this morning & instead of dragging her along with me, Anna Beth got to spend a little time with Rodney. Anna Beth took Rodney on a "Coke Date" to McDonalds. I am told that she asked Rodney what he wanted to drink, placed their order & paid for their drinks. They took their drinks to the top of the parking garage at the hospital/doctor's offices and gazed at the unobstructed view of our town (only 4 or so stories up, but in a small town it's what you get!) How sweet was that time for Rodney & Anna Beth! She is feeling much better and enjoyed her Sprite on their "Coke Date".
I am thankful for a sweet daughter (actually three sweet daughters) and a sweet husband. My life is continually blessed by them.
