Eight is great!

Happy 8th Birthday to our sweet Anna Beth! It seems like yesterday that we were blessed by her birth. She is an amazing young lady. A few things about her...

(1) She LOVES to read. She always has her nose in a book.

(2) She adores dancing. When she's not reading, she's dancing.

(3) She is wonderfully sweet, often sharing her coveted items or doing something special for someone (yesterday it was the bunch of wildflowers she picked for me!)

(4) She is a kind and generous kid who has a ton of friends. As I spent the lunch hour with her today, it touched me (as always) to see the friends who stop by her lunch table to say hello or wave across the cafeteria. It makes me think of the saying "to make a friend, you must be a friend"...what a friend she must be!

(5) She does have a sassy side, but she is eight afterall. As soon as she makes the bad choice of sassing me or her father, she realizes her mistake & then promptly apologizes. 

(6) She is an all around great kid! We are very blessed that God chose us to be her parents!
