I am not a soccer mom, I am a dance mom.
Dancing is what the girls love. I missed out on dance lessons as a chid, so I'm thrilled that our girls want to take dance classes. If/when they want to switch to another after school activity, we will do it (within reason of course). R & I have a "rule" of one after school activity per child. After all, there are only so many days in the week and our time together as a family is precious and important.
Since our dancers are performing in their annual dance recital tomorrow, I thought I would share a few videos from today's dress rehearsal. There were a few mistakes (as there always will be, since they are human and children!), but our angels kept going. I am so proud that they weren't embarrassed or confused, but they were able to keep the show going! Afterwards, there were no tears about the mistakes, just their comments about how they handled the situations. No drama! Can you believe it with girls ages 7 & 4 1/2? WOW!
I am one proud dance mom!
