Our family spent the day in Kennedale today. It doesn't sound too exciting, does it? I mean no offense to the residents of Kennedale. I am sure that Kennedale is a great place to live, but it's not the epitome of excitement (until today!)
While we were in Kennedale, AB's dance team competed in a National dance competition (for which they qualified in Houston a few months ago). Their dance team earned....drum roll please....
PLATINUM FIRST PLACE - JAZZ and....
OVERALL SECOND PLACE (which means that they had the second highest score in all of the age 8 & under dancers in ALL categories - WOW!)
We've had a great weekend being back in Dallas. The girls & I will stay in town for a few more days while Daddy had to go home to work. We'll miss him, but we are extremely thankful that he was here for today's big day!
While we were at Nationals, C lost another tooth! I've called the tooth fairy to let her know to deliver the goodies to Gran Jan's Dallas house. What another exciting piece of our day.
I wonder what excitement tomorrow will bring?
