Here's what we've been up to...
• I am in the process of tons of dental work which means multiple trips to the dentist to replace old fillings. I had my first and hopefully last root canal. No fun. The multiple trips to the dentist mean multiple insurance claims. I've been working hard to make sure that we are reimbursed our entire allowable amounts.
• We are still trying to get used to our "new" school year schedule. AB is actually in her fifth week of the first six weeks of school. We are busy with dance and tumbling (I caved!) after school four nights a week, but school will always be our priority. AB's lowest grade is a 97 and her highest is a 106! WOW! Love those spelling test bonus words.
• R spent last week in Phoenix and I am still trying to recover from a week of single motherhood. R's dirty clothes piled on the floor don't look so bad afterall...I love you, R!
• I am planning C's fifth birthday party. A Horseback Riding party/Cowgirl Party for 20 of her closest friends. If she wants to invite one friend from school, she must invite all of them. Yes, all 20 of the kindergartners. Plus dance class friends. Plus church/Sunday School friends. Plus tumbling class friends. Instead of gifts, I think we're going to ask for party goers to bring a new unwrapped book for her school library.
• R and I are planning our ten year wedding anniversary trip for November. Yes, TEN years. It seems like yesterday and forever all at the same time. Yesterday, because the time has been wonderful, fun and full of laughter and love. Forever, because I don't really think about life before R. I've been blessed to have him (and the girls, too of course).
• We're also planning another child free get away to see Cowboy Mouth soon. Can't wait to catch up with Fred. It's been since I was NINE months pregnant with L that we've been to a CM show. R wouldn't let me push my way to the front of that show. I could have done it more easily with my L belly!
Those are the highlights!
Here are a few recent photos...nothing special...just our family enjoying life with each other.
